PAYMENTS: 

All payments include rent plus applicable county tax & a $3 nightly administrative fee. Mono County TOT Tax is 12%.

  • A deposit of 50% of the total payment is due at the time of booking.
  • Balance is due at check-in.

 CANCELLATION/NO SHOWS:  No-shows will be charged the total amount of rent and applicable county tax due.

A cancellation fee of $30 will be charged for any cancellation.

If a reservation is cancelled and we are unable to re-rent the cabin or room for equal rent, the guest will be responsible for difference between the rent plus applicable tax and the amount received as follows:

  • Cancellations between 15 – 45 days prior to the arrival date will be charged 50% of the rent and applicable tax and fees due minus any amounts we may receive for re-rental.
  • Cancellations within 15 days of to the arrival date will be charged the total amount of rent and applicable tax and fees due minus amounts we may receive for re-rental.

 OCCUPANCY: We value the safety and comfort of guests. Our cabins and rooms are available for the quiet enjoyment of our guest’s activities such as dining, sleeping, bath and shower and recreation. Each cabin or room has a MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY based upon the number of beds available. King, queen or double beds count as two beds. Guests may not add beds or additional occupants beyond the MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. Sub-rentals, conducting commercial activities, engaging in illegal or discriminatory practices or having vendors or other persons provide services on-site other than approved Resort personnel is strictly prohibited. The Resort maintains venues for hosting parties, ceremonies, receptions, etc. We do not allow the cabins or rooms to be used for this purpose. Any violation of this policy will result in a doubling of the total rent and cancellation of the rental or remaining portion thereof.

SMOKING: We are a SMOKE FREE resort. Smoking is not permitted inside any of our cabins or rooms. Smoking inside will result in cancellation of the rental and the cost to clean/repair the smoking damage. A minimum cost of $400.00 will be charged to the guest on file.

 PETS: Pets are welcome at McGee Creek Lodge in select cabins and rooms. There is a $18 charge per pet per day. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors. We reserve the right to restrict the number of pets and the type of breeds. Pets may not be left unattended or tethered outside. Pet owners must pick up after their animals (we supply plastic doggie bags) and may not allow their pets to intimidate other persons or animals. Dogs may not create a noise nuisance.

 DAMAGE: Guests are responsible for damage to our cabins and rooms and contents or to resort property caused by anyone in your party.

 CLEANING: Please pick up and stow your garbage and wash dishes before departure. A $25.00 cleaning fee will be added to your account to clean dishes or pick up garbage. A $100 fee will be added to your account for cleaning soiled carpets or for extra cleaning of furniture, fixtures or equipment beyond normal usage.

 FIRES: No open fires are permitted on resort property. Do not burn wood in BBQ grills.

 QUIET TIME: Quiet time observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The personal information collected through our website and the personal information you otherwise choose to provide to us will be used and retained as described in the remainder of this Privacy & Security Policy.

Information Collected Automatically about the Computer Which Browses or Downloads Information from the McGee Creek Lodge website:

The information we collect and store depends on what you do when you visit our website. Non-personal Session ID information is logged automatically when a visitor accesses our site. The information gathered includes the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using, the time and date of your visit and does not identify you personally.

We may use this information to measure the number of visitors to different sections of our site, to monitor users’ compliance with the Terms of Use, for any investigative purposes or to help us make our site more useful. We may retain this information for at least five (5) years.

Personal Information Collected from E-mails

By sending us an e-mail (by selecting the Contact Us option), you are sending us personal information (i.e., your name, address, e-mail address or other information which can be associated with you without additional information). We store this information in order to respond to your request or otherwise address the subject matter of your e-mail. You should know that e-mail is generally not secure and may be subject to the disclosure requirements of the California Public Records Act or other legal requirements.

Personal Information Collected from Credit/Debit Card Transactions

We request information from the user in order to make a payment using our site. A user must provide contact information, such as their, e-mail address and financial information, such as a credit/debit card number and the expiration date. Contact information is used to advise the user about the processing of a payment. Financial information is used for payment processing purposes only.

We use a credit/debit card processing company to process the users credit/debit card charges for products, retrieval requests and chargebacks. We do not retain, share, store or use personal information for any secondary purposes (subject to the California Public Records Act and other legal requirements) and will exercise reasonable care to prevent disclosure or use of credit/debit card information, other than as permitted by the Credit Card Association Rules. We will retain or require this information to be retained for at least five (5) years in accordance with banking and accounting principles.
